A New Change

In the coming days, the Clan Site will be drastically changing. I don't mean re-arranging stuff for ease.
I mean REALLY CHANGING.
Including the name of the site.
Whats happening?
I have invited the European RP-PVP Guild Clan Korrag - essentially, our equivalent across the pond - to come join us on our site, as a way to not only build a community for RP Guilds based around Cimmerian lore, but perhaps get multi-server RP going, though granted such would be done via forum roleplay. In this aspect, it will be a community. The site will also be prone for constant additions - if there are any other Cimmerian RP Clans that pop up and look to be somewhat of a permanent fixture, whether US or EU, they will be welcomed here.
Stay tuned for more, and brace for changes.

The New Year, RP Events, and Site Donation

So, the new year is here.
The first thing I want to say, is come February 19th, the Clan Site is up for renewal. I intend to put up a donate link on the site, for those who would like to offer a little (as it comes during a rather pain in the arse time when college books are bought, and bank accounts are rendered useless) to help renew the site, it would be appreciated. The total is really about 40 bucks for the entire year, so in the end, not too terribly much. In any case, if the 40 bucks isn't acquired, I'll likely make a placeholder site until it -can- get renewed.
That said, the new year is here. 1.06 is on the horizon, as is Godslayer. Big things are a'comin, so stay tuned for big announcements for guild activities.
Finally, we'll have our big RP Storyline Event this weekend (the 23rd of January) which will have quite the shakeup storyline wise, and clan-wise.
So stay tuned, alot is happening

December, the Challenge, the Holiday, 1.06 And more

December is here. That means the Holiday Slow Down has likely affected the Clan.
Activity is still important, so obviously real life comes first, but if you can be on, let's remain an active Clan!
That said, as of this news posting (December the 11th) I have decided that this evening there will be a Court of Challenges.
It has come to my attention some players feel that they haven't been able to do much in the Clan, and that may be a reason for some people not being on as much. The Clan allows all to participate, but it is up to each player to decide how much. Simply participating affects things, as do the choices each one of you makes. If you want to see the Clan go somewhere, try to make it happen. It may not always work - we do operate with certain boundaries in respect to the world that Robert E. Howard created for us, but within those boundaries are so many Roleplay Opportunities!
Finally. 1.06 is coming.
Some things I have noticed with this patch:
- People need to pitch in. Start harvesting folks, we need T3 Mats, however, due to the renown gain it will earn, NO BUILDINGS WILL BE CONSTRUCTED BEFORE THE SYSTEM HITS LIVE! This is so that we can level up a few levels right off the bat. There will be a special incentive and quota program for harvesting materials
- There is apparently a guild tax feature. There will be a future tax - both to help us build the city, and as an IC device. The tax will often depend on IC actions. It WILL NEVER be used to disrupt members' gain, but as a way to make sure everyone contributes to the Clan
And finally... as I did last year, there will be something of a Christmas Gift for the Clan Incoming!
